🎮 How CareerOS Levels Work

CareerOS isn’t just another career platform — it’s your personal career adventure. With each action you take, you gain XP (experience points), collect badges, and level up. It’s designed to feel fun, motivating, and personalized — while helping you move closer to your dream career.

🧭 What are Levels?

Levels in CareerOS are a gamified way to track your progress. Every student starts at Level 0: Noobie and can climb all the way to Level 11: Eternal by completing tasks, earning badges, and building your career toolkit.

Each level gives you new privileges, like unlocking AI resume tools, accessing exclusive jobs, or joining your school’s internal talent pool.

🚀 How Do I Level Up?

To level up, you’ll need to complete two things:

1. Required Actions
   These are simple, trackable steps (like saving a job or sending a message) that show you’re engaging with CareerOS. You'll see red ❌ marks until you complete each one — then they’ll turn into ✅.
2. Required Badges
   Some levels ask you to earn specific badges. Badges are like mini-achievements — for example:
   • Save 3 companies = “1, 2, 3!” badge
   • Send your first email = “Email Explorer” badge
   • Apply to 5 jobs = “Awesome Applicant” badge
     You can always see your badge progress on each level card.

🧱 XP: Experience Points

Every completed action earns you XP. The higher the level, the more XP you'll need to advance. For example:

• Level 0 → Level 1 = 1,000 XP
• Level 5 → Level 6 = 15,000 XP
• Level 11 = 600,000 XP total

The XP bar shows your real-time progress toward the next level.
